Welcome to the website of Navigation Lab Leiden, led by Ineke van der Ham. The Navigation Lab is part of the Health, Medical and Neuropsychology unit, in the Institute of Psychology at Leiden University.
The aim of Navigation Lab Leiden is to study spatial navigation ability in both healthy individuals and neuropsychological patients. Our work consists of fundamental as well as applied clinical studies. Our goals are to better understand the neurocognition of navigation ability and create tools to diagnose and treat navigation impairment. The methods we use range from neuroimaging to virtual reality set ups and serious gaming applications. You can read more about our research interests here.
